I reviewed the first graphic novel HERE.The next movie isn’t coming out until next year so I obviously had to read this because I’m impatient. I’m mature and you can trust me.So I saw the first Dune movie and since I don’t have the dedication to read the original series, I decided to try the next best thing: the graphic novels. How you dune?If I could describe this book in one word it would be: dry.Okay but seriously. These are both full of beautiful art and a great way to reread a classic. The other review was comparing Book 1 Ultimate Collectors editions to the standard Book 2. They are not if you buy the same editions. I saw a review that books 1 and 2 Re different sizes. A worthwhile read for comics fans and fans of the Dune world. The art is enjoyable and the story, though familiar, is rendered in comics style with some really enjoyable and surprising design choices.
